Today we celebrate freedom and remember June 19, 1865—the day the last enslaved African Americans learned they were free. A day to reflect, honor, and celebrate.

RC Kids Summer Kick Off – June 6 – 11:00am-2:00pm

Let’s start the summer together! Join us on at White Deer Park in Garner - Meet at the Maple Shelter. Bring a snack and come enjoy some fun in the sun! There’s walking trails, volleyball and soccer areas, and areas to ride a bike or scooter. We hope to see you there!
