Tremendous show today in Greensboro First National Bank Field home of the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Enjoyed a beautiful Carolina spring day! POW Productions promoted another barnburner! The $1 tub has been on fire lately!

Was back doing a show this weekend at a show where I consider my home base, the NC Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC. It was busy and tremendous as usual as many of my regulars attended. We had a great time was next to local dealer Scott Conners and of course my usual wingman Taylor Schock. The other gentleman in the picture with the glasses and briefcase is Rick Savage, which I took at Strongsville. Rick is a HOFer of the TCSCC (Twin Cities Sports Collectors Club) of which I am also a lifetime member. Rick’s picture’s inclusion is appropriate as he has been a reknown expert for years on Armour Coins and he advised me on purchasing the base set of Armours pictured. I am thankful for his learned advice to me. Was my good fortune to reconnect with him in Ohio. The Coins are available for purchase soon as I am done processing.

Was good to get back doing a show last week at American Legion House 10 in Wilmington after losing 3 shows combined in the previous 2 weekends due to that weather that bedeviled most of country. Having done shows here in NC for 10 years and Minnesota and the Upper Midwest for 25 years before that. I can only remember ever losing one show due to weather and IIRC that was in Grand Forks, ND. Terrific crowd, started heating up (no pun intended) around Noon. That’s OBC member Andrew Blackburn having a successful tub dig, pillaged the $1 bin of vintage 50’s baseball (and being a Hunter fan) a Fred Dryer RC.

Will be back in Wilmington at the Elks Club on March 28.
