Changing Lives & Building Futures In Rural Communities For 19 Years! 4 the World's volunteers have been building remote schools, providing medical teams, and giving scholarships for hundreds of children or even clothing entire Mayan communities with new clothing are just some of the things we do.
It was nineteen years ago today that several members joined founder Robert Keith Froom in a monumental challenge to make the world a better place with the founding of the nonprofit 4 the World. Our last mission trip delivering fire trucks, ambulances and other emergency vehicles to Guatemala communities was followed by a devastating flood from hurricane Eta that all but destroyed our home base and organization’s headquarters in Belize. Shortly after Hurricane Eta as we made plans to rebuild, we faced economic hardship from Covid 19 pandemic. We now are looking forward to the ending of pandemic restrictions in the US and abroad so we can resume our efforts and continue our mission work in Central America! What sets us apart from other non profits is that we are not in it for the money in fact, we do not have any paid staff. Your donations do not go to paying salaries or payroll and expensive lifestyles. We do not do mass marketing or printed mailouts to fundraise. We just use our donations and volunteers to make things happen.
