Woven

We are feeling all kinds of emotions today as we are closing the doors at our first Her Haven location. We opened up these doors with very little money in the bank account and took a leap of faith to begin providing women a safe place to land. It took off and we saw the need for a bigger office space so we made the move to Clayton. Our lease was for two years and we had to figure out how to utilize the space. We always knew we wanted to open up a thrift for the community to come in and shop, where all proceeds would go back to helping a woman in need. So that’s exactly what we did and we’ve enjoyed it so much.

Our Volunteer, Tammy has faithfully served every Tuesday and Thursday at Woven and this wouldn’t of been possible without her. It’s allowed us the time needed to focus on our clients and helping them in the best way we can.

We are still deciding what to do with the future of Woven going forward. Rather we open up at our current office or not. We will update all of you as soon as we’ve made a decision.

Thank you to every person who has shopped with us and supported a woman in need and a huge thank you to everyone who donated clothing to the thrift for us to sale. We are so grateful for you all!
