Just like pharmaceutical companies court doctors to push their products, Israel courts leaders from our communities to build political support. Nonprofit leaders, educators, social service workers, researchers, and elected officials are being brought into these circles, but more and more people are seeing through it.

It’s no surprise when politicians vote in Israel’s interests instead of the interests of the communities they represent.

Institutional exchanges between the U.S. and Israel involving law enforcement, politicians, universities, nonprofits, and more are part of a broader lobbying strategy.

It’s no coincidence that Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague took a paid trip to Israel and now chairs the Israel Bonds Government, Industry and Financial Services Leadership group while Ohio holds over $250 million in Israel Bonds.

DIVESTMENT WIN - Summit County, Ohio has become the FIRST COUNTY in the state to have fully divested from the Israel Bonds it previously held.

This is a huge win for our movement. Thank you to the organizers, students, community leaders, and to all who showed their support in this struggle. This is a lesson in the power of collective struggle and organizing.

The work is not done - there is more than $300 million invested across the rest of the state, and we will not stop until we see all of it divested, and reinvested into our communities.
