Happy Valentine’s Day! ♥️ Here are some helpful eye care tips to kickstart your week.
1. 💯% UV-PROTECTION 😎
Wear sunglasses (100% UV protection is key!) anytime you’re outdoors and/or driving. This is the best way to help prevent cataracts and sun spots (pinguecula).
2. 20-20-20 RULE ⏲💻
Every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Following this rule and remembering to blink can help prevent eye strain, headaches and dry eye symptoms that come with long hours of screen use.
3. REST & RESET 😴😌
Eyelid twitching (myokymia) is usually caused by lack of sleep, too much caffeine, and increased stress. So make sure to rest and get quality sleep to avoid this issue.
