Garden Valley Homes and Land sponsored and hosted the 4th of July parade. I would like to thank Ted Dumont for making the way for our Grand Marshall 2026, Cowgirl Hall of Famer, Jan Youren. She is a beloved member of our community. Born and raised in the valley, lived here most of her life and has great grandchildren in the school. We are so proud to honor her.

These events take many behind the scenes helpers. Thank you to Lyli and Paige from Lowman, who helped organizer our parade participants and carried the dry parade banner, as well as, Emma and Paisley from Garden Valley, who carried the wet parade banner.

A huge thank you to the people who showed up on the morning of the 5th to help clean up water balloons and trash on the parade route. It was a tough, thankless job. Emma Rowland, Elaina Donley, Elise Fobes, Ruben & Leslie Lazo (The Lavendar Farm) and my wonderful husband, Thomas Jones, son, Max Alford and a passer by, Mr Michael McCormick, Science Teacher at GVHS all helped me and are so appreciated.
