Even Better Insurance

I am feeling extremely grateful, exhausted, inspired and straight humbled by Ragnar 2025 SoCal this past weekend with an absolutely amazing team. Krystal Spindler, Brandon Roberto, Dom Quaranta, Rachel Pennington, Maricela Cisneros and myself collectively ran 218 miles from San Diego to Huntington Beach over the course 36 hours, each tackling this monster of a relay race one leg at a time. We started at 5:45 am in San Diego on Friday and raced non-stop through to the finish line in Huntington Beach on Saturday evening at 6:30 pm.

I could not be more proud of how we all pushed our individual limits, encouraged each other and survived close quarters living in a transit van for the most sadistic 36 road trip ever 😂. My admiration for my teammates' effort is only exceeded by my awe at Trina McMann's superhuman level of patience, encouragement and alertness as our driver and Ragnar spirit guide. We literally would not have made it without her. She is a national treasure.

A big thank you as well to John, Kerry, Krystal, Brandon, Dom and the rest of the Anthem Blue Cross team for organizing and supporting us and all of those who volunteered along the way.

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together"...

I'm so glad we got to go far together and can't wait to do it again!
