Treasure Valley Safe Routes to School program

We’ve been in bike camp for the past 4 weeks and as the river gets lower we spend a lot of time in it and near it. Safety is always number one and the kids went through water self rescue and rope rescue training with our staff member, Ryan. It’s so important to have these life skills, especially when it’s hot and it’s so easy to jump in to the river for a cool down.

Today, the SRTS Team is at for a bike rodeo! The kids and course were great! Looking forward to being back next year 🚲

Last Friday, we put on a bike rodeo at Ponderosa Elementary school. The kids were great and everyone had a great time!!

Last week, the SRTS team had the opportunity to participate at multicultural night! It was a great way for us to give out information about our program and learn about the multitude of cultures that make Boise great. Thank you for letting us participate!
