Sorry - this is a little late, but here are photos of the raising of the Midsummer pole on Midsummer eve in Visby, Gotland, Sweden. As you see, this is a huge celebration! The pole is on the ground when everyone arrives, then at the appointed time is raised, to cheers, followed by singing and dancing around the pole. So, happy midsummer!!!!

Happy Pentecost, often called the birthday of the church!

Pentecost is a reminder – we each have spiritual gifts, currently known or unknown to us. Each of us! Everyone has their own gift/s, and each gift is equally important and needed. Our gift/s allow each of us, and all of us, to do the work God has called us to do in this world. Are you using your gift/s?????
