Citizens For Balanced Use

Well, well, again we hear the fear mongering environmental organizations claiming motorized and mechanized use of our public land is destructive and unacceptable. These are selfish people who want to incinerate our wildlife, fill our streams with sediment and air with deadly carcinogens. They don’t want the elderly, handicapped, or disabled to access our public lands. They don’t want proper management. Just look at what their anti management agenda has created. Nothing to be proud of! Time for a change! Thank you Secretary Rollins!
Local conservationists say the potential U.S. Agriculture Department secretarial memorandum is part of the latest effort to roll back regulations and undermine years of collaboration in managing motorized and non-motorized use in the Flathead National Forest.

We have done some recon on the trails in Tizer Basin, and to say it's not good is an understatement. The loop up Moose Creek and down thru Elk Park (7 miles) have 450-500 trees that need to be cut. We are planning our first big clearing effort up there the weekend of July 10-12. The forest service cabin in Tizer Basin will serve as our base of operations for that weekend. We need both certified Sawyers and others to limb and clear trail debris. If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan how to best get these trails cleared. We will reach out with more information for those willing to help. Thank you for your consideration.
