Thank you IDEXX USA 🇺🇸 and Alisha, for delivering our new analyzer and coordinating our demo and lunch!
The IDEXX inVue Dx Cellular Analyzer provides automated, real-time cytology and blood morphology results with reference laboratory-level accuracy in just minutes. Its slide-free workflow ensures consistency and precision without the time-consuming process of slide preparation. By using multidimensional interrogation of cells in their natural state and multiple wavelengths of fluorescence, the analyzer reveals unique cellular characteristics and provides greater diagnostic insight than traditional slide-based methods.
We are thrilled to bring this innovative technology to our specialty hospital and look forward to the enhanced diagnostic capabilities it will provide for our patients and clinical teams.

🐾 We were all excited to shower 6.5-month-old Great Pyrenees Charlie with love before and after his procedure with us!
Charlie was born with a congenital defect in his diaphragm that allowed his intestines, liver, gallbladder, and spleen to move into his pericardial sac (the sac surrounding his heart). Dr. Wong and his team performed surgery to return the abdominal organs to their proper location and repair the defect, giving Charlie the opportunity to live a happy, healthy life ahead. Slide through the pictures to see the before and after X-rays!
Just one day after surgery, Charlie’s owners happily reported that his belly finally looked full! Because of his condition, he had always needed to eat small meals, but now he can enjoy life much more normally.
We are so proud of Charlie and grateful to have been part of his journey. ❤️🐶

🐾 Sugar-sweet tortie Heidi came in for her first Internal Medicine consult for chronic gastrointestinal issues, and needless to say, we were all completely smitten with this adorable kitten! ❤️
Heidi had lots to say during her visit with our internist, Dr. Erin Galemore, keeping everyone entertained with her charming personality and endless commentary. We loved getting to know this sweet girl and look forward to helping her feel her best! 🐱✨

Specialists VSC wishes everyone a very Happy & Safe 4th of July
Fireworks are Scary!
More pets are lost on Independence Day than any other day of the year.
This July 4th:
* Make sure your dog is wearing a current ID tag at all times.
* Keep your dog indoors during fireworks.
• Never leave pets unattended, even in a secure yard.
* Have current, clear photos of your dog on hand, just in case.
• Playing music or the tv can help to drown out fireworks.
• Coddling a frightened dog will reinforce her fear.
Instead, try playing games or exercising to distract them. 🐾🎆🧨!!!!!

Everyone’s favorite sugar bear big DAVE was suffering from bilateral laryngeal paralysis. He had a successful laryngeal tie back surgery to improve his airflow with Dr Richard Wong.
And we all loved spoiling him during his recovery.

Innovation through collaboration. 🩺🐾
Service dog Spock underwent thoracolumbar PRP () injections and an LS PRP epidural infiltration with Dr. Meg Goodale.
Using a One Health, translational medicine approach, we were honored to partner with Dr. Nathan Yokel to help bring expertise from human medicine into the veterinary space as we continue exploring new options for canine patients.
Advancing care happens when great minds work together. 🐕🦺
