Thank you for making our Saree sale successful today! We sold almost $1500 in sarees, which will go towards college scholarships.

The remaining sarees will be stored for our sale in 2027. Our Saree donation drives will start being advertised in November, so follow us at Upakar Foundation if you are interested in donating at that time.

And remember, the 2026 Upakar Foundation application is currently open and we encourage any eligible high school students to apply. Deadline to apply is April 30.

You can also donate directly to Upakar on our website and we have a Named scholarship program, if you are interested in funding one.

Has your high school senior made a college decision or still debating? Apply for those college scholarships now and help finance the 4 year plan.

The Upakar Foundation is accepting applications from eligible high school seniors for the 2026-2027 academic year, with a deadline of April 30.

It is a competitive scholarship based on merit and need. Please take the time to review the FAQs, the instructions and fill out the application completely with all necessary documents uploaded.
