27 years later, and the concrete jungle is alive again. 🗽

The New York Knicks just swept Cleveland and secured their ticket to the NBA Championship for the first time since 1999. Jalen Brunson brought home Eastern Conference Finals MVP, the city is losing its mind, and MSG is about to become the center of the basketball world.

Celebrity row is starting to look like the Met Gala with jerseys on, with Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, Kylie Jenner, Tracy Morgan, and Jay-Z all spotted courtside. Outside the Garden, fans are climbing light poles, watch parties are spilling into the streets, and every block is buzzing with energy.

Now, the Knicks are just four wins away from ending a 50 year championship drought and turning one of the greatest comeback stories in modern sports into reality. Knicks fans waited so long for this moment that the last time they made the Finals, Instagram didn’t exist. Neither did half the roster.

VOLUME 15: BECOMING

Becoming is not a destination, but a continuous unfolding. Volume 15 traces the evolution of identity through moments of innocence, fracture, rebellion and acceptance, capturing what it means to grow within a world that constantly attempts to define who we should be.

From the dreamlike optimism of Bliss, to the harsh realizations of Disillusion, through the raw vulnerability of Awakening and into the quiet self-possession of Existence, this issue reflects the beauty and discomfort of transformation.

To become is to continuously evolve. To unlearn, rediscover, and exist authentically within your own becoming.

Where fashion meets fine art 🎨

This year, the 2026 Met Gala was defined by gallery-worthy pieces and artistic fashion statements inspired by the theme, “Costume Art.” The themed pushed celebrities to treat fashion as more than just clothing. Some fully embraced the assignment, arriving in sculptural silhouettes, archival references and intricate, art-inspired designs that felt straight out of a museum.

There were standout, thought-out looks that directly referenced art history and transformed the body into a canvas. At the same time, some outfits sparked mixed reactions, from over-the-top masks and theatrical pieces that divided audiences to simpler looks that critics said missed the theme entirely.

In a theme as open-ended as “Fashion is Art,” the gap between literal and interpretive dressing was impossible to ignore. Which look actually captured “Costume Art” and who completely missed it?
