Saint Patrick was recognized as a "saint" because he was seen as bringing Christianity to Ireland. March 17th is traditionally believed to be the date of Saint Patrick’s death (461 AD).

Saint Patrick exterminated all the "snakes" in Ireland and lost his life trying to convert all those poor lost pagan Celtic priests and Druid healers to the newly adopted Roman religion, christianity.

Celebrating March 17th mindlessly is the modern way to unconsciously consent to the "inversion" we are socially engineered to agree to. (PS-NO judgment here, just uncovering what 's been buried)
