Daybreak Pleasant Str.

With heavy hearts we have decided to remain closed. Patty and I set out to open a small, intimate, locally driven restaurant with Daybreak, and somehow, we tapped into something special. We feel greatly humbled by all the love and positive responses from the Pleasant Str neighborhood and the Gainesville community. We will reopen one day, but will be at a different location.
Being deep in the neighborhood, I felt responsible not to spread covid. We stayed closed hoping public policy would adjust to get ahold of the virus, but no such luck. As we go into fall, infections are rising and we had to make a decision.
