This week’s student spotlight is Bill! Bill has been in ag for a year and a half, and at NCTC for two. He changed his major to Farm & Ranch Management to learn about farming. He’s worked at the Cooke County Boys and Girls Club for two years and loves helping others. He isn’t sure what he wants to do after graduation, but wants to keep helping and learning!

Thank you Fischer's Meat Market for allowing us to tour today! Fischer’s was kind enough to offer us a tour through their meat processing facilities, so today Farm & Ranch students were able to observe the process from start to finish. A great way to end the semester!

This week’s student spotlight is C**t! C**t is currently taking his degree a couple classes at a time, and once he graduates he will continue to work at his family farm. His family runs a small farm in east Texas. They grow fruit, vegetables, raise chickens, and have had cattle in the past. C**t also does beekeeping! He started at NCTC so he could learn how to expand current operations, and some better ways to grow his farm.
