The little library kids had their time to shine this week during our Family Place Open Play session! We got to make new friends and play play play! Each child received a board book and a snack thanks to our sponsor. Keep your eye out for our next Open Play session in August!

We read the cutest books about cows this week at Chick-fil-A Gainesville (TX) We followed up reading time by singing some songs (practicing all our farm animal sounds). Then the kiddos made a fun cow mask to celebrate Cow Appreciation Day. We'd love to see you there next time on August 10th at 10:30!

We had a blast playing with everyone at the bubble foam party (Bubble Truck - Dallas - Fort Worth)! We loved seeing the delight on so many kids' faces as they danced and played. Closing off the morning with an icee from Happy's Sip & Dip sure was refreshing! Thank you to everyone who joined in- you made the day so fun!

Even a couple officers from the Gainesville Police Department stopped by the bash and handed out stickers. What a fun community event!

Don't forget to turn in your summer reading logs at the library front desk by tomorrow, July 15th! We have SEA LIFE Aquarium / Peppa Pig World of Play Dallas-Fort Worth free child tickets for kids under 12. The top readers in the teen division will be notified if they win a prize.
