Today we learned a few things.

1. Apparently Delco Trailers had a recall on some of their trailers a few back for improper welds connecting the spindles to the axle tubes.

2. Our Delco Trailer is one of these units

3. The customer support from Delco is absolutely amazing. As soon as I called they really went to work. Within fifteen minutes they had everything set up to get us back up and running. They jumped on the ball and we are strapping the new axle down now to go install! Impressed is an understatement. They understand what downtime means to an operation like ours, and that really does make a difference. (They would have installed it for us, but I didn’t want to tow a tripod to Paris)
