This flag is about COUNTRY, not about any one person or group of persons. It's about sacrifice (the red stripes), its about ideals (white stripes) and about being a light in the darkness (stars). It's about our military, and about our families. It's about each of us d**g our part to continue to have freedoms that no other nation on earth had when this nation was founded. (and most STILL do not have) It's about men like Jack Lord who fought on our behalf, and either still live with those scars, or no longer live with them.
The FLAG is all of that and more.
It's about One Nation. Under God. Indivisible. With Liberty and Justice for All.
It's NOT about perfection... none of us are perfect, no, not ONE. But, we should have perfection as our goal.
It's NOT about politics or politicians.
We SUPPORT this flag.
We STAND for this flag.
We RESPECT all who have represented this flag.
We SALUTE all who have defended this flag.
We PRAY for all who lead the nation for whom this flag flies.
