Fresh pastries, warm tea, sweet conversations, and the charm of a 100-year-old schoolhouse filled with laughter. It felt a little like stepping into a storybook for the afternoon.

There’s just something special about slowing down, gathering around a table, and savoring the little moments together.

Last night was something we will never forget. 🤍

80 women gathered inside The Ellie Inn — some friends, some strangers — all carrying wrapped books and open hearts.

We laughed.
We shared.
We slowed down.

And then Katie read a handwritten passage straight from her heart… and the room went completely still. You could feel it. The honesty. The vulnerability. The reminder that we are not alone in the things we carry.

What we didn’t realize when we planned a “simple book exchange” is how deeply we all needed it.

The connection.
The conversation.
The permission to show up exactly as we are.

It was beautiful in a way that’s hard to explain — the kind of night where strangers leave as friends and everyone walks out just a little lighter.

We feel so honored to hold space for moments like this.
This is why The Ellie Inn exists. 🤍

The doors open at 6:30 and The Ellie Inn will be filled with wrapped books, bubbles, light bites, and 65+ women who said yes to connection.

Bring your favorite wrapped book.
Wear the pink. Or the red. Or both.
Come ready to meet someone new.

At 7:25 PM we’ll begin our book exchange — numbers will be called, books will be chosen, and together we’ll unwrap a little surprise.

This night isn’t about perfection.
It’s about presence.
It’s about showing up.
