Hendix had a great influence over a new kind of music back in the 1960's known as "Rock n' Roll".
One of his most popular songs was called "Purple Haze" and so my son, Rex Hoyt II developed our version of it called "Hendriz Haze".

Back in 2003 when I first invented rattling jigs and making improvements on the original on it to bring the Texas Rattler and the "Worlds Finest Jig", in th beginning I gave away the Black/GoldEye for free with an I-Net purchase. __ I still do stuff like that to this very day.😎
That was May 2003 and in July 2003 - in the heat of the summer - I get an email one day that said they were pro flounder anglers from Galveston and wanted to buy 100 packs since I wasn't selling them at that time.
That's when I added it to the website.
At the same time an angler on my Pro Staff named James Tesch was winning consistanly and on the podium at just about every kayak tourney he entered. The flounder was the kicker bonus fish and James was catching them consistently.
I ask him what he was using and he said "The Black/GoldEye jigs and the new 'Texas Roach' soft plastic from Texas Tackle Factory.
What I determined is that that this combo looks like a "Mud Minnow" and that combo it has won or anglers have made the podium tourneys for my Pro Staff since 2003.
🏆Many of my Pro Staff have used it to win or place or win Big Red Trout Side Pots after I "educated them" about what was up.
When the shrimp migrate from the shore line - what left ? __ Yep, Mud Minnows.
Tourney anglers on my Pro Staff were "coached on this" - Jacob Sumney of KDen lures was using Gamblers until I turned him onto this combo using the new KDen line of soft plastics. ___ Jacob started winning and placing in Tournaments and winning in so many Big Red Side Pots that he bought KDen. __ Being on my Pro Staff changed Jacob's life forever.👍💯😎
