This week, The Christensen Foundation made our final outreach visit of the year to Ensenada, serving pan dulce and warm champurrado to families waiting outside the General Hospital emergency room.

If you’ve ever waited outside an ER, you know the feeling—
uncertainty, exhaustion, worry… and time that feels endless.
Sometimes, a warm drink and something sweet isn’t “just food.”
It’s comfort.
It’s dignity.
It’s a reminder that someone sees you.
We don’t do this for recognition.
We do this trips as many times as possible throughout the year, because compassion should never be just seasonal.
