The Temporary Emergency Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Schedule was approved and implemented by the Riverside Superior Court on March 27, 2020. This bail schedule was adopted in response to the March 21, 2020 recommendation of Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court Tani Cantil-Sakauye. This schedule lowered or eliminated the amount of bail required for inmates to bail out of custody on various charges. It also allowed for individuals to be cited and released for various charges.

1,002 persons have been released as of June 4, 2020, from Riverside County jails pursuant to this schedule.

Out of those 1,002 releases, 72 individuals have been rearrested for a total of 95 re-arrests.
