6/30 update :
Had to take Havoc to the ER vet overnight, he had a record temp of 107. Vets suspect he may have FIP (feline corona virus) in addition to his FIV and some other things that are causing his fever to not subside. He is currently on fluids therapy for his temp at ER vet. Please share this and donate if you can. If it is FIP, the only treatment course that has proven effective will cost over $3000 for 84 days. He also needs a blood panel sent out to screen for other reasons for the fever if is or is not FIP, just to cover his treatment bases.

We have started a Go Fund Me for Havoc's ongoing medical disaster. He has had a mysteriously high fever three times already this month and we are still trying to find the cause. Any help would be greatly appreciated, please share this far and wide!

Some good news!

Boys Havoc (grey) and Fozzy (white) are being adopted together by our neighbors 😻 They will be going home later this week after the new house is properly set up for them.

Not only do they get to go to a new home together, we get the peace of mind knowing that they will only be a house away. They will be loved and spoiled, and we have permission to visit whenever we want to see them. Definitely a win-win all around!

End of May update: the neighbors had a family emergency and decided not to adopt during this time. The boys will be looking for home again in the near future.

After months of trail and error on our part, we FINALLY managed to trap Bonnie!!!!

She had been so elusive these past few months with us trying and failing to get her trapped and inside, finally a bigger more spacious trap made her feel comfortable enough and we were able to snag her! We are sure Clyde will not be happy with us (as we did end up re-releasing him so we could coax her out again) but he is still coming around to our feeding stations nightly, so that is a plus.

We had a great night trapping some of our Wild Bunch colony cats last night. A local cat rescue offered the use of their drop trap to aid us, and we managed to trap four of six cats. We now have Clyde, Domino, Eon, and a grey Doppelganger who looks like our our neighbors cat. Bonnie has avoided us overnight, but we did she her show up to eat at her usual spot. We are also missing Dopple number two, who is a more black solid. Clyde has an appointment for neuter tomorrow, and we will also have his leg wound assessed as well. We will schedule the others for spay/neuter as money and time allows us.

Note: all the kitties have some scratches on their noses from fighting the drop trap, this is normal and will heal quite fine on its own.

Some newer Wild Bunch graduate boys, Fozzy and Nova.

Fozzy was caught in our outside trap when we were trying to catch Bonnie and Clyde (who are still on the run, haha). We approximate his age to be around 7 months old. He was neutered yesterday on Valentine's day, and after his recovery he will be working on socialization so he may be adopted to a loving family. He is a spicy little potato, but seems to want attention, especially from our other cats. He is a very vocal and silly boy, and we can't wait to see his personality blossom.

Nova on the other hand, practically walked right in our door on his own. He was skinny and full of fleas, but super sweet and just wanted someone to pay attention to him. He is about 1-1/2 years old, neutered, up to date on his shots and dewormer, and will be soon looking for a new forever family of his own. He is a very clingy and vocal boy, and would benefit from a home with another cat at his age and energy level to play with, as well as someone who is home all day to give him the attention he craves.
