Two floating cases custom made for . In order to keep the doors flat I laminated 5/16 shop sawn and routed flutes to 3/4” rift sawn ply. Then I laminated the door sides with shop sawn rift white oak. I also used a thick piece of rift for the door side to mimic a face-frame stile. However, it’s meant to add stability to the door and keep it flat over time. Finished in Rubio Gres beige

I recently when back to a client’s home to add to an existing project and was amazed what he did with it. Seeing how he filled this 26’ bookcase was impressive.
