One Sixty One is proud to present the first mural of the development’s public art project. A geometric design featuring the color palette of the forthcoming hotel.

The artist is Shelbi Nicole, a Houston based artist, designer, and muralist that has her paintings both collected and exhibited worldwide ( shelbinicole.com ). The project coordinator & curator is local artist Sara Peters( speters.co )

One Sixty One will be doing more mural installations over the next few months...another one is already currently in progress.

These murals represent One Sixty One / Banfield Properties’ commitment & vision to bring more art, color, and beauty into the Downtown District.
