Congratulations to senior Levi Durant for being recognized as this year’s recipient of the Coach Q Christian Character Award. We know God has great plans for this young man and we have been blessed by his leadership and character. For new families, this award was first announced last season after the passing of beloved former CHSA coach Doug “Coach Q” Quinones. For those of you who knew Coach Q, you knew him to be an incredible man of God, a faithful servant, a Loving husband and father and a great leader. For 20 years, Doug continually led the charge in calling our program to a higher standard in competition but more importantly in Christian character. He did not just push his players to memorize scripture, lead devotionals and serve in team led service projects - he did this in his own life. Coach Q really did all things for the Glory of God. To honor his legacy we recognize one student athlete each year with this award.
