The Funky Penguin

First craft show of the year is just ONE WEEK AWAY! It seems like I was just posting that we'd been accepted! So if you're in the McHenry County area October 28 or 29, stop by South High School and check out some great crafters. I'm flying solo since the mini penguin is at school, but I'm hoping to see some familiar faces!

We have some exciting news here at The Funky Penguin. We're becoming bicrafty! (translation: we're learning to crochet) It's only been a few weeks, so we know the basic stitches and can make great wash cloths and headbands. But as we continue to learn, look for crocheted items added to the knit ones in our stock! We'll share pictures as we learn and make more things. Stay tuned! 🐧

Happy New Year!! We hope you're all staying well and enjoying some family time over the holidays. The Funky Penguin will be spending most of January creating prototypes for new items we're considering including at shows and on Etsy. While we have a list of some great ideas, is there anything new or different you'd like to see from The Funky Penguin?
