Commercial Transload of Minnesota

Right now I'm sitting in a spot warmer than Minnesota. Not tropical, but warmer than 45 degrees. I've been following Facebook and Twitter stories from friends and family during today's weather in MSP and taking note of my own 'glad I'm not there' feelings.

I have to guess that people who made it to their destination in one piece during that mess are grateful they, too, weren't part of crashes like the one below.

Who knows what caused that crunch, but it wouldn't surprise me to hear it stemmed from familiarity and complacency. Please, please, please... DON'T take conditions for granted. Just remember: no two road trips are the same, even if they involve the same roadways.
