We absolutely crushed 3 to 5-pound giant rainbow trout for two days straight at Bridgeport Reservoir!
In this episode of Catch America, we hit the road from Fresno, CA, traveled through Yosemite National Park, and teamed up with Catch Crew member and expert guide Capt. Wes Hoskins for an absolute trout mayhem.
The Breakdown:
High Sierra Warm-Up: We kicked things off hiking through Little Lakes Valley to Chickenfoot Lake, putting the Junior Trigger Spoons to work on some beautiful wild rainbows and brookies.
The Hotel Lobby Bear: Things took a wild turn before day one even started when Max ran face-to-face with a full-size mama bear right by the hotel elevator! Talk about a morning wake-up call.
The Bridgeport Smash: Once we linked up with Capt. Wes, the bite went insane. We threw a ton of gear at them, but they completely dialed into the Trix Minnow and the Trix Worm in Orange.
Huge shoutout to Capt. Wes Hoskins. The guy absolutely grinds out there—constantly checking lines, changing setups, and making the perfect adjustments to keep us hooked up. If you want an incredible Eastern Sierra fishing adventure, Wes is the man.
