My husband and I went on a hike last weekend and it was just straight up the mountain without switchbacks.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We got to what we THOUGHT was the top of the mountain only to find that the path turned and the top was still a walk and a rock climb away.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When we got to the rock climb part, the sun was shining so brightly right behind the mountain.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I couldn't see how much further we had to go.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which meant I had to just put one foot in front of the other and discover the end when I got there.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I couldn't decide it was too far or too high or too rocky.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I just climbed.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Just pushing through, and finding my breath, and imagining how beautiful the view would be when I got there.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Thank God for the light at the top of the mountain that forces us to surrender to the uncertainty, embrace the unknown, and just keep climbing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Our job is to PLAN your wedding properly so it goes smoothly, not just show up on the day and put out fires (either figuratively or literally... we're looking at you, sparkler sendoffs 😬)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Our job is to SUPPORT your vendor team and set them up for success so they can do their best work for you - so many little things go a long way liiike making sure the bridal suite has the right chairs for hair and makeup, not just the more obvious necessities like natural light, outlets, mirrors, etc. ✅⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Our job is to PREVENT foreseeable hiccups because every wedding day moment matters and you only have one chance to get it right - we may call an audible here or there, but you don't get a mulligan, so the game plan has to be solid before we step on the court (we know that was 3 different sports... don't @ us 😂)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Right before the ceremony, when you're watching all your guests arrive from the bridal suite, and it hits you that this moment is finally here, we give you space to process how surreal it all is but have a tissue ready when you need it (and show you how to hold one with your bouquet for the tears when you get down the aisle).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
