Rhames Photography

I'm getting to the end of the list of images exhibited at The Spectrum Art Gallery, last September. The title of this image is "Big Sky over Ballindoon Priory Ruin". Kinneigh Round Tower was image number 11 in the Spectrum Art Gallery, last September.
Located in County Cork, this ruin and cemetery are the remains of the Kinneigh Monastic site reportedly founded in 619.
This is one of my favorite images. Here again, the image is composed of the omnipresent mega-palette of greys and greens, with the addition of a splash of red on the near headstone. The strengths of this image are the tonal dimension and texture of the grasses, the diffused highlight reflecting off the surface of the toppled headstone, the subtle red accent and that gorgeous sky.
