144th Fighter Wing

Congratulations to Col. Shahzad Jahromi, who assumed command of the 144th Medical Group during a change of command ceremony, June 7, 2026, at the Fresno Air National Guard, California.

Col. Jahromi is a traditional drill status guardsman, balancing his service in the ANG with his full-time career where he serves as Physician-in-Chief and Chief of Staff for the Permanent Medical Group.
