Our mentoring program at Parlier Unified deserves a big thank you for tirelessly supporting Parlier youth in academics, behavior, and attendance. Cynthia Duron does an outstanding job overseeing our program and collaborating with mentors to support Parlier youth.

We are excited to invite you to join us for the Sixth Annual Rising Scholars Symposium, themed “Education is Key to Transformation,” on April 17th 2026. This event is a meaningful opportunity to support and celebrate the resilience and achievements of formerly incarcerated students and those currently in placement at the Juvenile Justice Center.

Keynote speaker Paul Calvo, an esteemed alumnus and inspirational leader, who will share his journey and insights during the symposium. Throughout the day, you can look forward to engaging breakout sessions, a student panel, and opportunities to connect with our keynote speaker during the “Beyond the Session” time. Additionally, there will be breakfast, lunch, and raffle drawings during lunch, making it a day full of learning, networking, and inspiration.
