This Cataract Awareness Month, we want seniors to know: blurry vision isn't something you just have to live with. Talk to your care team about your options. Early detection can protect your independence and keep you doing the things you love.

On this Memorial Day, we honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the freedoms they secured for all of us.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. For many seniors, emotional and mental well-being are deeply connected to independence, purpose, and quality of life, yet too often go unaddressed.
At PACE by IIH, mental health support is woven into the care we provide. Our interdisciplinary team includes social workers, therapists, and counselors who address not just physical needs, but emotional and psychological well-being too.
We're committed to providing care that sees our participants fully: their joys, their challenges, their stories, and their goals for living well at home. 💚

To celebrate Mother's Day, our Bakersfield PACE team hosted a special event honoring the incredible moms in our Day Center.

The room was filled with laughter, music, and celebration as participants and their families enjoyed games, delicious sandwiches and desserts, and of course, non-alcoholic "MOM-osas. Participants danced, posed for photos, and shared beautiful moments with their loved ones and our staff.

At PACE by IIH, we believe celebrations like these are just as important as the care we provide. Moments like these create connection, joy, and community with our participants.
