Today and always, we stand in solidarity with workers fighting for fair labor conditions.

Farmworkers put food on our tables but face daily exposure to toxic pesticides, causing skin issues, breathing problems, and long-term illnesses. Over 10,000 farmworkers suffer pesticide poisoning each year, and their children are also at risk.

During (March 25-31), let’s push for safer working conditions and the respect farmworkers deserve, because no one should risk their health to grow our food.

Farmworkers are the backbone of our food system, and their safety comes first.

During Farmworker Awareness Week (March 25-31, 2025), let’s talk about heat safety, staying hydrated, taking breaks, and knowing the signs of heat illness can save lives. Employers must provide water, shade, and rest, but awareness is just as important.

With workers and immigrants under attack, California’s strong workplace protections are more important than ever! 🚨

Legislators have the power to expand the California Workplace Outreach Program (CWOP) to meet this growing crisis. CWOP works by partnering with trusted messenger organizations to reach millions of workers in restaurants, farms, warehouses, and other industries where labor violations are all too common.

📢 We know CWOP works and now UC Berkeley’s research proves how effective it is at educating and supporting workers.
