Took my kids to the USS Hornet museum to support our veterans and learn about the history of this ship. Did you know that the Hornet was the ship that picked up the crew from the Apollo 11 and 12 mission?

Days started to blur together and you get lost inside your own mind during the trek. Once in a while, you turn around to realize how far you have travelled and the view you passed is just as beautiful as the ones in front of you. At that moment, you realized you are in paradise.

This is me setting up a 10 second timer trying to get the perfect shot at 12000 feet altitude in the Himalayas. Surprisingly I am not too winded even multiple attempts of running and down that hill.

Our adventure begins! Next stop Kathmandu, Nepal! After planning and training for the whole year, it has finally come down to this moment to start our Everest Base Camp trek. Let’s hope for the best!
