Washington Health’s trauma team works tirelessly to help residents avoid preventable trauma like falls, head injuries, and choking. Guided by data gathered by our trauma team, we’ve designed and offer programs focused on falls, motor vehicle collisions, bike and scooter safety, Stop the Bleed training, and child passenger safety. These ongoing efforts are improving awareness and reducing preventable injuries to avoid an unexpected visit to our trauma center – the first, and only program serving Southern Alameda County.
