Magnum Drywall

After several years as an apprentice and Journeyman Painter, David Phillips began with Magnum in 2014 working on the San Jose Earthquake Stadium project for Devcon under Dan Marynak. David quickly stepped up to a Lead Painter during that project and successfully completed it in 2015. He went onto handle several other projects for Dan as Lead Painter, including Symantec for Novo. In 2016 he was assigned a Cisco project for Mai Construction and quickly stepped up when they needed a Wallcovering Foreman. David demonstrates excellent customer and communication skills, as well as a skill-set in both painting and wallcovering finishes. David is on his way to completing the Adobe TI Wallcovering project, one of the largest and most challenging to date Congratulations to David!

We are fortunate to have our Paint Foreman Dan get recognition from The Northern California Painting and Finishing Contractors Association for being one of the Top Union Painters! Dan is being recognized for his success handling two major projects Nvidia Voyager and Google Gibraltar. This award honors an employee who has gone above and beyond their normal duties and has demonstrated multiple key components that provide exemplary leadership and strong work ethic. Way to go Dan!
