Ibn Umar (ra) reports that The Messenger of God ﷺ said:
“When you meet a hajji on their way home then greet them, shake hands with them and ask them to beg forgiveness of Allah on your behalf before they enter their home, for their prayer for forgiveness is accepted since they are forgiven by Allah for their sins.”
To all of our friends and family who are returning from their Hajj, welcome home!
قبل الله حجك وغفر ذنبك وأخلف نفقتك
May Allah accept your Hajj, forgive your sins, and recompense your expenses. Ameen!

Eid al-Adha commemorates the sacrifice of Abaraham. Abraham was asked by God to endure the ultimate test; sacrificing his son.
This heavy task compelled Abraham to make an emotional sacrifice for the sake of God, and once he submitted, God reminded him that it was the sacrifice of the heart that was desired over the body. Once the heart submits to God, the body follows suit.
From that day on until the end of time, God sends his peace and blessings upon Abraham, which is verified by the Final Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ. We pray five times a day and in our prayer we send peace upon Abraham paying tribute to the faith of Abraham and his family.
May our hearts be in the care of God, and may our sacrifices be recognized by Him.
