Friends, I have an exciting update to share.

I just launched the Physiology First University podcast to simplify the science of health and human potential🎙️🧠🔥
~
Each episode is a 20 minute micro-lesson in brain and body health.
~
You’ll find the first two episodes in our bio, along with a short dedication to a mentor.
~
Why I created Physiology First University Podcast…
~
A few months ago the BBC invited me on the air.
~
I flew to the U.K…and they cancelled the television appearance at the last minute.
~
Why?
~
Because health education for kids is “too complex” a topic.
~
I strongly disagree. We’ve been teaching kids and adults about the power of their brain and body for a decade🧠🔥
~
It’s essential education.
~
I hope the new podcast serves as a simple, powerful tool for parents, families, and schools who want to help the next generation learn about their physiology, first.
~
At Physiology First University we believe that learning takes place through experience, not information alone.
~
We’re launching Physiology First University Online today as well.
~

It’s time for a global revolution in education that teaches physiology, first.

When I was 12 years old I asked my father a question…
~
What do you do when you feel like nothing matters?
~
He looked at me with a dull pain in his eyes….
~
I could tell he was searching for something he hadn’t yet found.
~
I’ll never forget his answer.
~
He said “Do you want a beer?”
~
We drove to a store and I drank my first beer in the front seat next to my Dad who’d been sober since I was born.
~
I wondered if we’d talk while I drank.
~
We didn’t.
~
I realize decades later he was teaching me a lesson in the unintentional, natural, and inevitable way we each teach each other.
~
By showing ourselves to the world.
~
He was saying “This is what I’ve done to answer that question.”
~
I realized there are billions of people I could ask questions to, and that the world is a spinning epicenter of endless learning.
~
When I left school at 14 I asked myself how people made money.
~
I applied for and worked over 30 jobs to learn the answer for myself.
~
When I ran my first ultramarathon I learned by doing.
~
When I opened my first business I learned by doing.
~
Leaving school at 14 spared me from the greatest delusion in education.
~
The lie is that information is education. The truth is that we learn through experience.
~
As I work to scale our Physiology First University campuses globally I’m spending time in the cities where our contacts and Team Leaders live🌎🧠🔥
~
The conversations with entrepreneurs, educators, coaches, cab drivers, restaurant workers, day laborers, community leaders, and kids will shape our growth strategy.
~
I’ve learned more in Dubai this week than I can possibly express.
~
Thank you to the many teachers who helped me gain a deeper understand this singular, inspiring example of how to build the future on the strength of our dreams.
~

Since my conversation with one thing is clear…
~
The U.K believes in the UNLIMITED potential of their kids🧠🔥
~
They know mental and physical health aren’t something you “have.”
~
They’re something you BUILD through daily training, skill building, and education on the mind and body.
~
The topic of health education for kids may be “too complex” for the mainstream media….but it’s DEFINITELY not too complex for the people.
~
