I had this distinctive feeling of before and after prior to my trip to Costa Rica. Somehow I knew it was a marking point, akin to those few blank pages some authors or printers use to highlight one era of the characters narrative into the other

The thing is though those blank pages were anything but. Costa Rica showed me a lot. A lot about myself, my family, beliefs, cultures, habits, way of living, desires. It was as if I had asked for a Reading from the universe and instead of throwing down some cards She said; let me show you

I don’t feel like the same person I was before I left and I have a lot of unpack and work through now that I’m back. In many ways I left many things behind. This picture reminds me of the 8 of Cups in the Tarot. Walking away into something new

Embracing this new era, whatever it may be and bring, as I integrate what once was

Today was my last session with Tre

It was very hard to say goodbye to him as a Trainer. Tre has been a formative part of the last two years, a rock and a sounding board I got to see weekly. His encouragement, patience, enthusiasm, empathy and humor the best companions. Tre helped me grow as a person and helped me realize all the things my body is able to do in spite of my chronic illness and challenges

Tre embodies everything that is right in fitness. I am going to miss him terribly. He’s become a friend and one I cherish.

Looking forward to witnessing his journey as I continue mine
