I am humbled to announce that last Monday, March 2nd, I was chosen by my colleagues on the Frederick County Republican Central Committee to become the next chairman of the Frederick County Republican Party. I am honored by their trust and ready to get to work.

Being in the middle of midterm season, the timing necessitates that we keep things moving smoothly. Our team is solid, the foundation is strong, and I am committed to building upon what has already been accomplished.

I an excited about the road ahead and confident we will stay focused on our mission of electing more Republicans right here Frederick County.

I am excited to announce that I have filed my candidacy for the Frederick County Republican Central Committee!

As you may know, I was appointed as a member of the current committee in July of last year after being appointed as an auxiliary member a few months prior.

Since joining the FCRCC, I have helped lead discussions on our current party structure and how to position it well for the future. We need to make improvements on fundraising, voter outreach, and staying visible in the public eye. The Republican voters of Frederick County need to know that we are here to fight for them. It is crucial that we give them a return on their investment, whether that investment is financial, physical, or both.

Simply put, the mission of the FCRCC is to put more Republicans in office. In concert with my roles at both the Republican Club of Frederick County and the Frederick County Young Republicans, I believe we have laid the groundwork to do just that. This year, we helped to secure the first Republican representation in the City of Frederick since 2017.

The FCRCC also earned the 2025 Samuel Chase Award from the Maryland Republican Party, which is given annually to the “Most Outstanding Republican County.” While it is great to receive such recognition, it does not mean that we can become complacent. There is still a monumental amount of work to be done. I am committed to closing the 2026 election cycle in a strong fashion, and picking right back up in November to strengthen the Frederick County GOP even further.

Clerk of the Court Sandy Dalton administered my oath of office last night before the Frederick County Republican Unity Meeting.
