Muttyboots Farms

Warning, this is not for the weak stomach..but what else are we gonna do after a beautiful Thanksgiving? Muttyboots Farm has been silent, but busy. Our project has been the Blue Foot Chicken. This isn't your typical chicken...at all. We've had several, and the taste is so different...almost like duck....great with a pinot noir...these are going down with us to the Northern Neck of VA to share with dear friends. They've had a diet of corn, milk products and oats for the last 2 weeks. Will we sell them at some point? yes, but we need to get them to perfection....more chicken...more wine...:)

We have a lot of scrapple and puddin' to sell at this time. (shown is the scrapple) This is fresh as the processing was just this past weekend. (26th) Let me know. $3./pd. Private message me for pickup info.

Soooo, if anyone saw the piggie on the edge of Route 15 north, yep, that's our girl. We had some scary moments this morning, but I think the tractor trailer that flew by scared her into sumbission. Whew.....
