The FXRT was one of those Harleys people did not fully appreciate until years later.

Built from 1983 to 1992, the FXRT Sport Glide put a rubber-mounted Big Twin in the FXR chassis and gave it a frame-mounted fairing, hard bags, and a setup that could actually handle a winding road better than most people expected from a Harley back then.

Early bikes came with the Shovelhead, then Harley switched over to the Evolution motor. It was a lighter, more performance-minded touring bike for riders who wanted to put miles on something without riding a full dresser.

Back then, not everybody got it.

Now, guys hunt them down, build around them, and talk about them like Harley was onto something the whole time.

To us, the American Dream was exactly what you would expect: a rough start, a long road of learning, hustling to get ahead, and a journey that is never really over.

As a small business owner, running an independent shop is not always easy. We wear every hat in the business. There is red tape, there are always fires to put out, and sometimes the parts still do not show up. It is a constant push and pull between business and personal life.

We would like to thank our team, Ms. Lorie and Cody Hipkins, for their relentless loyalty and dedication to keeping this shop up and running, and our customers, vendors, and associates for your continued support.

When your blood runs deep, and your skillset keeps you upright, every little bit matters, and it still does. The American Dream is now. Every day, we work for it to keep this independent Harley garage open.

It is not easy, but it is a proud moment to have the opportunity and ability to make our dreams come true.
