Fall calls for a little more grounding and support! This weekend’s weather offered a delightful opportunity to get outside and get rooted in earth energy with this private small group yoga session.
We began with a little core integration and heat building to balance the cooler temps, then moved on to standing poses that focused on foundational, functional alignment to create stability (even on the uneven terrain!) and safety. This connection to our core and the ground below our feet allowed us to explore some vulnerable poses to energetically open the heart and throat chakras as well as physically create more space for the breath in the neck, upper back and shoulders. Finally, we ended with savasana to the sounds of crickets and leaves rustling.
