When I’m not cutting silhouettes, I may be doing something else. I live in a city too 💪 …. Scything is not hard, and definitely gets addictive 😎

So proud of my fellow Baltimore (Maryland, USA) creative specialists: Projection artist Kelley Bell (), her team at University of Maryland, Baltimore County; the Peale Museum () —- Kelley created the history of the Peale Museum projected onto the 211-year-old building, told as a timeline of characters… and the faces of the characters: they were my own , the public art made from 287 real people of Baltimore, that I created thanks to a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council () .
In Baltimore, we thrive on collaboration. We energize each other. And we come out stronger.

It takes a village —or a dream team!— to make an important client happy! Read on:
When put together two Baltimore-area event specialists for a commission of 100 custom placecards for a valuable client’s event, we didn’t know each other, at first! … Yet Hannah at and I worked perfectly together! Here, you see Hannah’s hands holding placecards that she wrote the calligraphy for the guests and I cut the silhouettes. Asynchronously. Working together— separately. You can see just a few of the successful pieces, which not only were elegance on the table in their frames, but will also be heirlooms to pass through the families… because stunning work like ours is treasured for decades to come.
I have to virtually hug Kate over at — not only did she make it easy with a dream team, but she even laughed at my comedy during valuable work texts. Now that’s the perfect work environment! 🤪
