There’s this lie we believe.

If we hit a specific goal we’ll start to feel confident. When we reach a certain level, people will take notice.

The truth is that no outside influence can ever create lasting confidence within us.

We need to decide that we believe in ourselves and what we are doing first. Then, after we show up and deliver value, other people will also believe.

But, it starts with us.

Any other 80s babies feeling this… or is it just me?

We were taught to be independent, capable, and low-maintenance…
and now we’re the ones carrying everything for everyone.

Family. Work. Expectations.
All of it.

But maybe we weren’t created to live like that.
Maybe we were created to rely on God—and actually live the life He designed for us.
