Here is a sample of a 3D PRINTED holding fixture created overnight to hold a very warped and flexible part that did not have a gauge built yet, but the customer needed an initial layout for tooling changes. Tolerances held to about +/-0.15mm (+/-0.006in), then we best-fit to the DATUMS to tighten it up. We added clamps later, which printing these doesn't take too long, plus we have a small inventory of standard items pre-printed.
